Supporting the development of effective fundraising structures to lay the foundation for sustainable funding of the organisation. This goal will be achieved by building staff capacity in resource mobilisation, developing institutional policies, exploring diversified funding options, and other means.
Markus Lejsek has always been interested in using business know-how to create added value for society. Immediately after completing his studies in International Business Administration, his path led him to the NPO sector. As a fundraiser for a large Austrian NGO and a leading University, he successfully contributed to raising additional funds from different forms of donors. For him, working in development cooperation was a long-held dream and therefore the logical next step.
Uganda Women’s Network (UWONET) is a women’s rights advocacy organisation coordinating collective action among women’s rights and gender equality stakeholders for the attainment of gender equality and equity in Uganda. UWONET is a network organisation with 25 member organisations and 9 individual members.
