Directly involved are 106 people (54 female and 52 male), indirectly involved 2860 people (1.617 female and 1.234 male).
Barbara Metzler studied African Studies, Communication Science, Gender Studies and Political Science. Before being engaged in international cooperation, she was part of a research group on social inequality and education. She has remained true to her interest in issues surrounding the creation, use and dissemination of knowledge – most recently as a policy advisor on higher education and science in development cooperation.
